Before choosing
Tenerife, made personal: two ways to build your day
Choose your experience
Choose your experience
Not every trip fits a route with a fixed name. Sometimes you have one free day and want to use it well. Sometimes you arrive with a specific list. Sometimes you are a group that needs different logistics, or you travel with someone who cannot walk far, or your timings are tied to a flight.

Tenerife in one day: private full-day tour
Eight hours to explore one major region of Tenerife coherently. We choose a base route and prioritise what matters to you rather than trying to cross the entire island at any cost.

Bespoke private tour in Tenerife
When no fixed tour is quite right, I build a proposal around your interests, time, accommodation, mobility and budget.

Understand this collection
That is what these two options are for. Both are private, both are prepared by me before you set out, and both start from a conversation rather than a catalogue. The difference lies in the starting point.
Full Day Tenerife: a day with a frame
A private day of around eight hours. The time frame is set in advance; the content is not.

When you write, I look at three things: where you are staying, what interests you, and how many hours are genuinely left once driving time is subtracted. From that I propose a route that can be done properly in the time available, with a guide and transport for your group.
It is the natural choice if you have one free day inside a short trip and want someone to decide with good judgement on your behalf.
Tailor-made private tour: from scratch
Here there is no frame at all. No fixed duration, no fixed area, no fixed format. It starts from what you propose and a plan is built around it.
This is what suits a request that falls outside a standard day: several days, a group needing more capacity, a very specific interest, an occasion, a combination no catalogue offers, or mobility needs that shape the whole design.
How to choose
| Full Day Tenerife | Tailor-made private tour | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A day of around 8 hours | Your brief, with no preset frame |
| Duration | Defined | Variable |
| Who proposes the content | I do, from your details | Built together |
| Suits you if | You have a day and want it used well | Your case does not fit a standard day |
| Typical example | "We have Thursday free, surprise us" | "There are twelve of us, four days, and we want this and that" |
And if you have read all that and still cannot tell, it does not matter: write with your plan and I will tell you which route to take. That is my decision to make, not yours.

What I will not propose
Personalising is not saying yes to everything. Some things I prefer to rule out before we start:
- Seeing it all in one day. Tenerife is small on the map and large in driving time. A day with nine stops is a day in the vehicle.
- Combinations that do not fit. If two places are two and a half hours apart, saying so beforehand is part of my job.
- Access that depends on a permit. Some trails and protected sites on the island have restricted access requiring prior authorisation. I do not promise them as part of a plan unless they are confirmed.
- Routes that do not match the real group. If someone cannot walk thirty minutes over uneven ground, I do not design a day that requires it.
What I can do is tell you what is genuinely worth your time, and why.
How I prepare a proposal
- You write. Dates, group size, ages if minors are travelling, where you are staying, what interests you, what you have already seen, preferred language and any mobility or dietary needs.
- I check what is possible. Real distances, daylight hours, season, expected conditions and the availability of anything that needs arranging.
- You receive a written proposal. The route, what is included, what is paid separately and the price for your group.
- We adjust. If something does not work, it changes before you confirm.
Groups that need different logistics
I do not publish a maximum group size, because it makes no sense to close a door before knowing who you are. If the group is larger than one vehicle holds, the right solution is worked out while preparing the proposal.

Tell me how many of you there are and where you are setting out from, and I will tell you what is workable.
When a defined route suits you better
If your interest is clear and matches something I already run, a defined route usually turns out better: it is refined and needs no designing.
- Volcanic landscape, sunset and stargazing → Teide and stars
- Heritage, forest, wine and a local table → Nature, culture and food
Frequently asked questions
Which of the two is more flexible? The tailor-made one, by definition. Full Day also adapts, but within a day of around eight hours.
Can I ask for several consecutive days? Yes, that is a tailor-made request. Tell me the dates and what you would like to cover.
What if we arrive by cruise ship or have a flight that afternoon? Tell me when you write, with the exact times. Timing shapes the whole design and I would rather work with it from the start.
Can you pick us up anywhere on the island? Pick-up is agreed before booking, based on where you are staying. Tell me the area and I will confirm it in the proposal.
What does it cost? It depends on the route, the group, the date and the logistics. I prepare the price for your group and you receive it in writing before deciding.
Which language is the tour in? Spanish, English or Italian. This website is also in German, but the language of the tour is agreed before confirming.
Tell me what you have in mind
Write with your dates, how many of you there are, where you are staying, what you would like to see, your preferred language and anything I should account for. From that I will tell you whether a prepared day or a design from scratch suits you better, and prepare the proposal.
If you are still planning, these two help a good deal: planning your trip and how I work.
